The revelation of a new World Title.
Going into Monday Night Raw, it was promoted that Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque was set to make an announcement that would ‘rock the foundation’ of WWE.
The Chief Content Officer made his way to the ring to reveal a new championship that is being called the World Heavyweight Championship. A new champion is going to be crowned at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia on May 27th.
Levesque addressed what this means for Roman Reigns, who is the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Reigns will hold onto his title and when he is drafted as a part of the 2023 WWE Draft, he will stay on that brand and defend the title there.
