J.R., Schiavone and Excalibur are the commentary team for Rampage.
Calling the action on AEW Rampage is the trio of Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone and Excalibur. They were the original team for Dynamite but now that team consists Schiavone, Excalibur and Taz.
On the ‘Ask Me Anything’ edition of Grilling J.R., Jim Ross expressed his thought that the trio of himself, Schiavone and Excalibur is the smoothest team in wrestling.
I think (Tony) Schiavone and Excalibur and I are the smoothest team in wrestling. I really believe that. It sounds egocentric, sounds horrible probably coming from me. So you got three play-by-play guys and we all seem to interface pretty well. We don’t do a lot of walking on each other, so I really enjoy working with Schiavone and Excalibur and I hope — I’m really comfortable doing that with those guys.
