NXT returns to its normal range on Tuesday night after a big figure for Spring Breakin’ the week prior.

The May 2nd episode of NXT averaged 568,000 viewers and approximately 183,000 (0.14) in the 18-49 with the show ranking #15 among cable originals. (Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily).

Airing against the NBA & NHL playoffs, NXT saw a bigger loss among its male audience with a 35 percent decline among men 18-49 and 44 percent drop with males 12-34. Interestingly, the female audience in those demos was identical to last week and saw no decrease.

Adults 18-34 fell 33 percent which was its lowest figure since April 5.

Adults 35-49 dropped by 13 percent and adults 50+ declined by three percent.

The show aired against the Miami Heat vs. New York Knicks, which averaged 4.7 million viewers and 1.57 in the demo on TNT, as well as the Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Florida Panthers, which did 1.3 million viewers and 0.43 on ESPN.

NXT was following the WWE Draft editions of SmackDown and Raw where 18 performers were called up to the main roster and several wrapping up their duties on Tuesday’s program including Indi Hartwell relinquishing the NXT Women’s Championship.
