There were two Triple Threat matches to determine who moves on to the semifinals in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament. Seth Rollins and Finn Bálor won their respective matches and they clashed in the main event of Raw. Rollins bested Bálor to advance to the final which is taking place at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia.

Rollins is taking on the winner of the SmackDown side of the tournament. It’ll be A.J. Styles versus Edge versus Rey Mysterio in addition to Bobby Lashley versus Sheamus versus United States Champion Austin Theory. The winners of the two matches are going to meet to decide the final spot in the tournament final.

As Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville were walking around backstage to get signatures for a petition, they ran into the reunited group, The Way (Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, Indi Hartwell & Dexter Lumis). During the segment, Gargano told the rest of the group that, “He’s coming back soon”.

For the first time since being taken out by Trish Stratus, Becky Lynch made her return to television.

On the May 12th Friday Night SmackDown, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez are scheduled to defend the Women’s Tag Team Championships against Damage CTRL’s Bayley and Dakota Kai. The winners of the match will defend against Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville on the 5/15 Raw.

Zoey Stark made her Raw in-ring debut and scored a win over Nikki Cross.

Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci had a run-in with Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. The reigning champions went on to defeat Kaiser and Vinci later in the show. WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER is scheduled for next week’s program.

Paul Heyman posted a sketch about the WWE World Heavyweight Title and the graphic featured talents running after the title with the caption, “Go to play kids”.

The Miz versus Shinsuke Nakamura is taking place on the 5/15 Raw.

WWE sent their congratulations to Dave Bautista for the success of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
