The San Juan Street Fight recapped by Savio Vega.

On the lead up to Bad Bunny and Damian Priest’s San Juan Street Fight at WWE Backlash, Puerto Rico’s own Savio Vega appeared on-screen in a backstage segment and handed Bad Bunny a kendo stick with the colors of the Puerto Rico flag wrapped around it.

During the match, after Carlito made a surprise appearance, Savio blocked Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio and Finn Bálor from leaving the entrance way area.

As Savio was speaking to Cultaholic, he recounted his appearance and shared that it was Bad Bunny and Damian Priest’s idea to have him involved.

They got in contact with me because this is the mastermind of Damian Priest and Bad Bunny. They’re both fans of me and I discovered that when I went to the farewell of The Undertaker. I saw Damian Priest there and I went to him, ‘Hey man, how you doing? I want to take a picture with you.’ He said, ‘No, I want to take a picture with you.’ So I talked to him a little bit there. We don’t talk too much but we keep in touch by phone. This idea was them, more Damian Priest.

Coming off of the loss to Bad Bunny, Priest competed in the first round of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament on the 5/8 Raw
