Ashino is sidelined for the foreseeable future.
The winner of the 2023 AJPW Champion Carnival is Shotaro Ashino.
In the tournament final, he wrestled T-Hawk and coming out of the bout, he was diagnosed with a fractured left ulna (forearm).
All Japan noted that Ashino is going to miss all the matches he was scheduled for starting from their May 13th show. There are no details about a potential return date. Shotaro was set to challenge Yuji Nagata for the Triple Crown Heavyweight Title on May 29th.
