Atsushi Onita undergoes successful surgery for abdominal aortic aneurysm

The surgery was a success for Onita. 

Atsushi Onita took to his social media platforms to share that his surgery was a success. On 5/9, he underwent an operation for an abdominal aortic aneurysm, which is an enlarged area in the lower part of the body’s main artery, called the aorta. 

After the surgery, Onita was under observation in the I.C.U. before being transferred to a general hospital room. His treatment consisted of catheter-based stent graft insertion and coil embolization.

Onita is planning to return to the ring in June

He is currently one-half of the AJPW All Asia Tag Team Champions with Yoshitatsu.
