Ali secured his title shot on Raw.
There was a Battle Royal on the May 15th episode of Monday Night Raw to determine the next challenger to GUNTHER’s WWE Intercontinental Championship at Night of Champions.
The final three in the match were Mustafa Ali, Ricochet and Bronson Reed. Reed had Ricochet on his shoulders on the outside of the ring and Ali swooped in with a dropkick and knocked both men off the apron to secure the win. Ali is now set to challenge GUNTHER for the title.

Night of Champions is going to be Ali’s first broadcasted title match since the 2022 Hell in a Cell Premium Live Event.
