J.D. McDonagh was spotlighted on the 5/15 episode of Monday Night Raw. He started off in a Battle Royal to determine GUNTHER’s opponent at Night of Champions. McDonagh, Xyon Quinn, Apollo Crews and Von Wagner were in the match. McDonagh was eliminated by Dolph Ziggler and after Ziggler was eliminated, McDonagh attacked him.
A vignette then aired to promote J.D. and he was then interviewed by Cathy Kelley. When the interview was done, Judgment Day’s Finn Bálor could be seen watching McDonagh.

Imperium (GUNTHER, Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci) approached Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. This led to Owens calling the trio out for a six man tag on 5/22. Owens and Zayn will pick a partner to team with them.
Later in the show, GUNTHER was shown shaking hands with Paul Heyman and in the main event, Imperium helped Finn Bálor and Damian Priest score a win over Zayn and Owens.

After Raquel Rodriguez bested Chelsea Green in singles competition, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler returned and took out Rodriguez. The other half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Liv Morgan, is sidelined with an injury.

Becky Lynch called out Trish Stratus for a match at Night of Champions and on the 5/22 Raw, they’ll sign a contract to make it official.
Both Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes are going to be on the 5/22 show ahead their match at Night of Champions.
Prior to Dominik Mysterio getting a win over Xavier Woods, Corey Graves continued to hype the ‘Prison Dom’ persona by saying Mysterio makes El Chapo look like the Hamburglar.
It is official that on 5/22, Zoey Stark is going one-on-one with Candice LeRae.
Indus Sher (Veer & Sanga) were in action and they picked up a win over local talents. Jinder Mahal accompanied them to the ring.
