On next week’s NXT on USA Network, the semifinals of the vacant NXT Women’s Championship tournament are taking place. It’ll be Cora Jade versus Lyra Valkyria and Roxanne Perez versus Tiffany Stratton. The winners of those two matches will meet at NXT Battleground to compete for the vacant title. Cora bested Fallon Henley and Roxanne bested Jacy Jayne to advance to the semis.

The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed) picked up a win over The Dyad (Rip Fowler & Jagger Reid). Post-match, Julius and Brutus called out NXT Tag Team Champions Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang) for Battleground.

NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams were in tag team action and they bested the duo of Charlie Dempsey and Drew Gulak, who were initially expecting to face Wes Lee and Tyler Bate but they were taken out by The Schism.

Following Hayes and Williams’ win, a video of Bron Breakker aired and Breakker was at the barbershop that Trick and Carmelo film segments at.

It is official that tag team partners Hank Walker and Tank Ledger are going one-on-one on 5/23. Ledger suggested the idea to help them form a stronger bond after seeing what that scenario did for Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen.
