Subculture is coming to IMPACT.
The next special for IMPACT Wrestling is their Under Siege show on May 26th. The lineup for that event is taking shape and a part of the card is Chris Bey and Ace Austin defending their World Tag Team Championships against Subculture (Flash Morgan Webster & Mark Andrews).
Andrews has not competed for the company since 2016. He spoke about his excitement level for his return on his My Love Letter to Wrestling podcast. He shared that there’s a good deal of fond memories associated with that first run.
Yes, indeed (I’m headed back to IMPACT Wrestling) and you know what? I’m excited… I am too (also happy about it) because for those of you who don’t know, I kind of had my first big break in wrestling with IMPACT Wrestling back in 2014. I was a 21-year-old and I won their TV show British Boot Camp which was kind of like, almost like a Britain’s Got Talent for British wrestlers… And it was a great experience. I had two years (in) the company and honestly, some of my favorite memories in wrestling were in IMPACT Wrestling before I went to WWE. So the fact that now I’m able to go back, not only to IMPACT but I get to bring two of my mates as well. I get to bring Dani Luna and Flash Morgan Webster. I’m buzzing.
With the addition of the Tag Title bout, the updated lineup for Under Siege is listed as follows:
- IMPACT World Championship — No DQ Match: Steve Maclin (c) vs. PCO
- IMPACT Knockouts World Championship: Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs. Jordynne Grace (If Grace loses, she can no longer challenge for the title as long as Purrazzo is champion)
- X Division Championship: Trey Miguel (c) vs. Chris Sabin
- Six Way #1 Contender Match for IMPACT World Title Shot: Alex Shelley vs. Eddie Edwards vs. Frankie Kazarian vs. Jonathan Gresham vs. Moose vs. Yuya Uemura
- The Design (Deaner, Kon & Angels) vs. Sami Callihan, Rich Swann & TBA
- Trinity vs. TBA
- Nick Aldis vs. Kenny King
