Closing out NJPW Resurgence was the finals of the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship tournament.
Earlier in the show, Willow Nightingale bested Momo Kohgo and Mercedes Moné picked up a win over Stephanie Vaquer.
In the main event, Nightingale and Moné went one-on-one and Nightingale hit a powerbomb on Mercedes to secure the win.
Nightingale is now the first-ever NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion.
