She described being away from WWE as ‘crazy’.
To start the month of May 2023, WWE’s Carmella and Corey Graves revealed that they are expecting their first child together. The couple found out they were expecting in March and Carmella is due in November.
The Messenger was able to chat with Carmella and she told the outlet that it is ‘crazy’ being away from WWE after being with the company for nearly a decade. She added that she is looking forward to the challenge of getting back to the physicality of pro wrestling after giving birth.
I love working for WWE, I love performing and it’s just such a passion of mine. I’ve done it for 10 years so it’s so crazy to be away from it. To have a baby and then go back to work in an area that’s just so physical and so demanding — I’m really looking forward to that challenge.
Leading up to WrestleMania 39 in April, Carmella had been advertised to be teaming with Chelsea Green but was swapped out for Sonya Deville. Her most recent match was at a house show on March 12th.
