Championship bouts locked in for Battleground.
Come May 28th, NXT is going to be presenting their Battleground Premium Live Event from Lowell, Massachusetts. The NXT go-home show for Battleground aired on 5/23 on USA Network.
The finals of the vacant NXT Women’s Championship tournament at the P.L.E. was determined. Lyra Valkyria picked up a win over Cora Jade and later in the show, Tiffany Stratton defeated Roxanne Perez. It’ll now be Valkyria taking on Stratton with the winner becoming the 15th NXT Women’s Champion. After Valkyria’s match against Cora Jade, Cora ambushed her and targeted her leg.
In addition to the Women’s Title tourney final, Gallus’ Mark Coffey and Wolfgang are putting their NXT Tag Titles on the line against The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed).
