L.E.C. has sponsored a handful of pro wrestling events and matches.

Life, Enjoyment & Convenience has sponsored multiple pro wrestling events and the business often sponsors New Japan Pro-Wrestling events and matches. L.E.C. was the sponsor for Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay’s IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Championship match at Wrestle Kingdom 17.

L.E.C. President, Takaki Nagamori, spoke to Tokyo Sports for an interview and told the outlet how L.E.C. got involved with pro wrestling. He stated that he likes the sport and things first kicked off by working with Dragongate.

We started holding pro-wrestling events as a sales promotion plan to build closer relationships with our business partners, and as part of that plan, we started sponsoring pro-wrestling events as well. Our main customers are home centers and drugstores, and especially at home centers, we have to compete with competitors on price. When I was wondering if I could make a sales promotion proposal other than price, I thought it would be a good idea to hold a pro-wrestling event in the parking lot or store of a home improvement center.

I like professional wrestling, and I started with the unfounded confidence that there would be nothing I wouldn’t understand if it were professional wrestling. At first, we mainly worked with Dragon Gate, but we began to receive requests from our clients to invite other organizations, so we started contacting them.

He would go on to share that L.E.C. has made attire for talents as well. The company created the red suit that Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Kenoh sports and they made a costume for Giulia’s STARDOM World Climax 2022 appearance(s).

We made the bright red suit that Kenoh wears at the press conference. We wanted him to create his own image, so we had a lot of discussions with him, saying, ‘The suit is one of the costumes, so it has to attract attention too.’ It stood out and was so well received that it has become a standard item. We sometimes fund the production of costumes like that, and in fact, Giulia wore a costume we made for her at the Ryogoku show last March.

Next up on the docket for New Japan Pro-Wrestling is their Dominion event and then following that is the joint show with All Japan and NOAH titled All Together Again.
