Schiavone does not think it’s guaranteed he’ll be re-signed.

In 2019, Tony Schiavone signed with All Elite Wrestling and he has been with the company since. On top of being a commentator for AEW’s weekly TV shows, Schiavone hosts on-screen interviews and is the Senior Producer and Special Advisor to Talent.

On Schiavone’s ‘What Happened When’ podcast, Conrad Thompson jokingly said that Schiavone has a lifetime contract with AEW which Schiavone refuted. He said that is the case unless his life ends next April. He added that there’s no guarantee the company will re-sign him.

That’s a f*cking lie (Schiavone responded to Conrad Thompson joking about him having a lifetime deal with AEW). Unless my life ends by April of next year.

There is no guarantee that they’re gonna re-sign me. There’s no guarantee on that. That’s how I approach life.

Tonight’s edition of Dynamite is the fallout from Double or Nothing and POST Wrestling’s review of the show is going to be live after Dynamite goes off the air.
