Due to Mark Davis being sidelined with an injury, both him and Kyle Fletcher had to relinquish the IWGP and NJPW STRONG Tag Team Championships.
New champions were crowned at Dominion when United Empire (Great-O-Khan & Aaron Henare), Bishamon (Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI) and House of Torture (EVIL & Yujiro Takahashi) competed for the belts. Hirooki Goto got the pin over Yujiro to secure the belts for himself and YOSHI-HASHI.
Post-match, the new double champions were confronted by BULLET CLUB War Dogs, Alex Coughlin and Gabriel Kidd.
