Francesco Akira & TJP regain IWGP Junior Tag Titles, Dan Moloney ambushes Catch 22 at NJPW Dominion

Dan Moloney turns on United Empire at Dominion.

At New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Dominion event, new IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions were crowned. The duo known as Catch 22, TJP and Francesco Akira, bested Kevin Knight and KUSHIDA to regain the IWGP Junior Tag Belts.

Accompanying Catch 22 to ringside was Dan Moloney, who competed in the 2023 Best of the Super Juniors tournament.

As Akira and TJP were celebrating their victory, BULLET CLUB’s Clark Connors made his way out to the ring and hinted that someone would be coming out to stand alongside him as potential challenges to Akira and TJP. The newly crowned champions were then ambushed by Dan Moloney.

Moloney and Connors beat down Catch 22. It was Will Ospreay who brought Moloney into United Empire.
