Archer revealed the injury post-match.
Kicking off New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Dominion event was Will Ospreay versus Lance Archer in the finals of the IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Championship number one contenders tournament.
Ospreay came out victorious and he is next in line to challenge Kenny Omega for the title.
Post-match, Archer spoke to the press and revealed that he’s been dealing with torn triceps and he’s kept it quiet. Archer stressed that he did not need sympathy from anyone. He just needed time and now he’s back.
Ospreay issued the challenge to Omega for Forbidden Door on June 25th.
