Will Ospreay and Lance Archer won matches to advance to the final and coming out on top in their bout was Ospreay. It is now official that Ospreay is next in line to challenge Kenny Omega for the championship.
The last time Omega and Ospreay went one-on-one was at Wrestle Kingdom 17 where Omega defeated him to become IWGP U.S. Champion for the second time.
