After a hectic schedule of matches, the Crockett Cup tag team tournament is down to the quarterfinals.
A total of 24 tag teams were involved in competing for the final eight spots. Several preliminary and qualifying matches took place at the event’s accompanying fan fest.
The decades-old tag team tournament was revived by Billy Corgan’s National Wrestling Alliance in 2019.
In both 2022 and this year, the tournament has been a two-day event. This year’s show is being hosted at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds in North Carolina.
In addition to Saturday night’s tournament matches, night one saw EC3 successfully defend his NWA National Heavyweight Title against Thrillbilly Silas Mason.
