NJPW will reveal the blocks for the G1 Climax this Saturday as the New Japan Road tour kicks off.
The announcements will be made this Saturday regarding the members of each block after the 32 participants were released last weekend at Dominion.
Based on the number of participants and the schedule revealing the semi-finals and final, it suggests that it will be the same format as 2022 with four blocks.
The 2023 G1 Climax will feature Kazuchika Okada, Tetsuya Naito, Hiroshi Tanahashi, SANADA, Will Ospreay, Shingo Takagi, Shota Umino, Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, Hirooki Goto, YOSHI-HASHI, Taichi, El Phantasmo, Toru Yano, KENTA, Great O-Khan, Jeff Cobb, Alex Coughlin, Chase Owens, Hikuleo, Shane Haste, Mikey Nicholls, Zack Sabre Jr, David Finlay, Ren Narita, Yota Tsuji, Tomohiro Ishii, EVIL, Aaron Henare, Gabriel Kidd, Eddie Kingston, and Kaito Kiyomiya.
The New Japan Road card streams on Saturday at 5:30 a.m. ET from Chiba with the following matches:
