Trios & Contracts

Rampage kicked off with the Lucha Bros and Bandido taking on Lee Moriarty, Big Bill, and Ethan Page. Excalibur explained that this match had been signed before Matt Hardy won the rights to Page’s contract and Hardy was allowing Page to compete. Ethan Page was about to win the match when The Hardys and Brother Zay came out and asked him to “extend them” which referred to Hardys-style arm sleeves that Page reluctantly extended. Bandido jumped Page and scored the win.

QTV & Hobbs

QTV was spitballing ideas for Collision and their best idea was them making an announcement that they’ll be making an announcement. QT decided that Hobbs would go out tonight on Rampage and show everyone what they’re all about. Hobbs beat a local talent in just over a minute and the announce team said Hobbs had Collision in his sights.

WarArn

Renee Paquette asked Arn Anderson how Brock was doing after the attack by Luchasaurus. Arn said that Christian made a mistake in not finishing him. Wardlow said that this Wednesday he’s facing Jake Hager in a TNT Championship Open Challenge.

El Aclamado en SAP

Next up, The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass Billy Gunn took on the Spanish Announce Project. The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn won in under nine minutes.

Aubrey Briscoe

Renee Paquette interviewed Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal and their crew and Karen Jarrett said she was here to finish what Aubrey started last week. This brought out Aubrey accompanied by Mark Briscoe. Aubrey took the mic and said AEW wouldn’t sanction a match between them but she would kick her ass the first chance she got. Mark Briscoe said that AEW wouldn’t sanction a single match but would sanction a mixed Trios tag match. When questioned who Mark & Aubrey’s partner would be, Mark responded that it would be his Dad, Papa Briscoe.

#1 Contenders Main Event

The main event saw a #1 Contenders Match with the winner facing Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s Championship next week on Dynamite. Early in the match, Hikaru Shida chased Marina Shafir off with the Kendo Stick. The finish saw Britt Baker hit the curb stomp on Nyla Rose only to have Mercedes Martinez drag her to the outside. Skye Blue was able to hit the Code Blue on Nyla Rose for the victory.
