Alex Shelley captures IMPACT World Championship at Against All Odds, title defense set for Slammiversary

Motor City Machine Guns leave Against All Odds with singles titles. 

A new X Division Champion was crowned at IMPACT Wrestling’s Against All Odds show. Chris Sabin of the Motor City Machine Guns defeated Trey Miguel to win his ninth X Division Title. 

Closing out the show was Alex Shelley challenging Steve Maclin for the IMPACT World Championship. Shelley emerged victorious to become IMPACT World Champion for the first time in his career. He celebrated in the ring with his partner Chris Sabin and Frankie Kazarian joined them. 

Earlier in the show, Nick Aldis won the 8-4-1 match to secure himself a shot at the IMPACT World Title at Slammiversary on July 15th.
