KENTA has fueled hopes for a match with CM Punk at Forbidden Door, telling Tony Khan, “Give me the bag.”

The NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion responded to a fan-made match graphic on Twitter that pits the two exponents of the Go 2 Sleep against each other.

Responding to the graphic, which was tweeted with a claim that the match was being discussed, KENTA stated, “Oh hell no. Tell Tony Khan GIVE ME THE BAG.”

It is the second time this week that the 42-year-old has weighed in on a possible pairing with Punk. On Wednesday, he posted:

“I don’t really care who’s the original G2S. There is only one truth. If you want me to have match against Punk, Give Me correct amount of money. Other than that I don’t need to have this match. Seriously.”

Only two matches have so far been made official for Forbidden Door. The event takes place on Sunday, June 25th, at the Scotiabank Arena, Toronto.
