Sakazaki sidelined with an injury.

In early May, it was formally announced that Yuka Sakazaki would be graduating from Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling. Her final show with the promotion would be on December 1st and then she’d be based in the USA in the new year.

Sakazaki was scheduled for the 6/11 TJPW show but was pulled due to a neck injury. After a medical check, doctors are not clearing her to compete. TJPW issued a statement on the matter and noted it was explained to Yuka that the injury could lead to a serious accident in the ring. After the doctor officially diagnoses Yuka, a decision regarding her return will be made.

As a result, Magical Sugar Rabbits (Yuka Sakazaki & Mizuki) are no longer the Princess Tag Team Champions. The titles have been vacated.

On July 8th, Sakazaki was set to take on AEW’s Nyla Rose at Summer Sun Princess but she is not cleared to compete. A new opponent is going to be announced for Rose.
