Desperado finds his partner.
Coming out of GCW’s Tournament of Survival weekend, El Desperado called out Jon Moxley for a match to follow up on their bout at NJPW Music City Mayhem in 2022. In response to the challenge, Moxley stated that he’ll be bringing Homicide with him to the Independence Day shows at Korakuen Hall in July.
A new video was uploaded to NJPW’s digital platforms and Desperado wants Jun Kasai to team with him against Moxley and Homicide. A graphic in the video lists the match for July 4th.
Desperado and Kasai have faced off on three separate occasions. They’ve had two singles matches and one tag match.
Their latest encounter was in September 2022 and they went 28 minutes for TAKA Michinoku’s JUST TAP OUT promotion. Desperado got the win.
