He’ll be out of action for several weeks.

The match card for Pro Wrestling NOAH’s June 10th event had to be altered due to Junta Miyawaki not being available.

Miyawaki suffered a spinal cord concussion and he’ll be out of action until June 24th. The following is from Lippincott Williams & Wilkins’ documents about spinal cord concussions:

Spinal cord concussion is a transient disturbance of spinal cord function, with or without vertebral damage and no demonstrable pathologic changes, that results from a rapid change in velocity following trauma, and resolves within 48 hours.

Miyawaki was in action at the NJPW/NOAH/AJPW All Together Again show. He tagged with Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura to take on Minoru Suzuki, El Desperado and Ren Narita.
