Scrypts and Axiom were not celebrating for long.
There was a Handicap match on WWE NXT that saw Scrypts and Axiom band together to best Dabba-Kato. As the duo were celebrating their win, they were ambushed by Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo.
Humberto and Garza have been on the main roster for several years. They’ve wrestled sporadically this year. Both talents were part of a Battle Royal on Raw on May 15th and prior to that, the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal the night before WrestleMania 39.
Garza’s last match in NXT was in February 2020 when he dropped the Cruiserweight Championship to Lio Rush.
Humberto has not wrestled under the NXT banner since the summer of 2019.
