The 6/20 and 6/27 episodes of WWE NXT are weeks one and two of ‘Gold Rush’. Multiple championship matches are taking place on both shows.

To open the 6/13 program, Tyler Bate, Mustafa Ali and North American Champion Wes Lee defeated The Schism (Joe Gacy, Rip Fowler & Jagger Reid). There was an outside referee that stopped the inside official’s three count as Lee wasn’t the legal man that Gacy had pinned. Tyler Bate, who was legal, would secure the win over Gacy. Later in the show, Mustafa Ali suggested that he should be the special guest referee for a Bate versus Lee North American Title match and it is official for Gold Rush week one.

Tag partners Edris Enofe and Malik Blade went one-on-one and Blade secured the win. They embraced post-match. Afterwards, Booker T announced that Enofe and Blade, Tank Ledger and Hank Walker along with Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen will be competing in a Triple Threat tag on 6/20 to determine who moves on to Gold Rush week two to challenge Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang) for the NXT Tag Team Championships.

Joining the Gold Rush week one lineup is a singles match between Dana Brooke and Cora Jade.

On 6/27, Tiffany Stratton’s first defense of the NXT Women’s Championship will be against Thea Hail.

In the main event of tonight’s program, Bron Breakker interfered in Ilja Dragunov’s match against Baron Corbin which led to Corbin scoring the win. With the victory, Corbin is heading to Gold Rush week two to challenge Carmelo Hayes for the NXT Championship.

A vignette aired to introduce the team of Lucien Price and Bronco Nima, who have been competing on Level Up.
