Ricochet comments on idea of Will Ospreay showing up at WWE Money in the Bank

Ricochet thinks both Ospreay and Moose would benefit from the WWE machine being behind them.

One of the guests to join Mark Andrews on his latest My Love Letter to Wrestling podcast was Ricochet. As their conversation rolled on, Ricochet was asked what talents does he think could benefit from having the ‘WWE machine’ behind them.

He listed Will Ospreay and IMPACT Wrestling’s Moose.

Will’s up there (among the list of names who could benefit from having the WWE machine behind them). I mean Will’s obviously always got a lot of backing like Ricochet did before he got here but I think Will’s up there. Will (Ospreay), he’s always got a lot but I think with the WWE behind him, it would be obviously a lot more out there. I think there’s a couple guys, I got a couple friends. Even my homeboy Moose, who is currently obviously working for someone else but I think Moose, he’s got the look, he’s like 6’4, he’s huge, he’s great, good in-ring shape.

That’s just nowadays. There’s a lot of guys out there. I think that is the problem. There is so many good dudes out there now.

He was then asked about the online interactions between Ospreay and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. The two talents had some back and forth banter about Money in the Bank being in London, England.

Ricochet, who is in the men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match, commented on the idea of Ospreay showing up at the Premium Live Event and stated that Rollins has a lot more on his plate to worry about than a ‘forbidden door match’.

I don’t know if that’s the thing, Will’s just gonna show up at The O2 (for Money in the Bank) but, and honestly, Seth (Rollins) has got a lot to worry about on this side. He doesn’t really need to be thinking about no outside interference so, as cute and cheeky as it is, Seth’s got a lot more to worry about on his plate right now than a forbidden door match, a whatever you wanna call it type of match. Obviously, to have the two worlds, there’s a lot going into it that would obviously make that a big match, obviously. I don’t wanna take away from that but… I’ll smack you in the face too Will. Shut up.

Rollins has three title defenses lined up. He has an open challenge for Monday’s Raw, a title defense against Bron Breakker on NXT and then a match against Finn Bálor at Money in the Bank
