Ciampa is back.
Since late 2022, Tommaso Ciampa has been sidelined with a hip injury and he underwent surgery. For the first time since that surgery, Ciampa appeared on WWE television.
He showed up on the June 19th episode of Monday Night Raw and confronted The Miz, who he had been paired with for a period of time on the main roster. Ciampa defeated Miz in singles competition.

Prior to tonight, the two-time NXT Champion was last in action at a house show in September.
