NWA is hosting the event to raise funds for Cooper and Luke Roberts’ medical expenses.
On July 4th of 2022, a mass shooting occurred during an Independence Day parade in Highland Park, Illinois. 8-year-old Cooper Roberts was one of those in attendance who was wounded during the shooting. Cooper was shot in the back and has gone through rehabilitation and multiple surgeries.
Cooper’s brother Luke was injured during the shooting as well.
The National Wrestling Alliance is hosting a benefit show on July 8th in Highland Park and the funds raised will go directly to their family to help with the ongoing medical expenses.
On July 9th, NWA is holding television tapings for their weekly Powerrr series.
One year after the mass shooting in Highland Park, the NWA is holding a charity event to raise funds for the ongoing medical expenses of the youngest injured during this tragedy: Cooper Roberts and his brother Luke.
