New championship match added to the PLE.
The June 23rd edition of Friday Night SmackDown saw WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler defeat NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre to unify their championships.
Raquel Rodriguez was ringside for the match and afterwards, she brought out the returning Liv Morgan. Morgan was sidelined with a shoulder injury and as a result, her and Rodriguez had to relinquish the Women’s Tag Titles which Shayna and Ronda went on to win.
On the newest edition of The SmackDown LowDown, it was made official that Morgan and Rodriguez are challenging Baszler and Rousey for the Undisputed Women’s Tag Team Titles at Money in the Bank on July 1st.
