The second week of AEW Collision viewership figures are in with the show dropping by a sizable amount in the key demographic.
The June 24 live edition of the show from Toronto averaged 595,000 viewers and 272,000 (0.21) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.
The show was down 27% in viewership and 37% in the 18-49 demographic from the debut edition.
In the 18-49 demo, the average male viewership was 191,000 and females were 82,000. Those figures are down 39% and 32% respectively from the first week.
Adults 18-34 declined by 46% from week one with males dropping by 51% in that demo and women declining by 32%.
Adults 35-49 fell by 31% with a 30% drop among males and 32% among females.
For comparison, when CM Punk debuted with AEW on the second episode of Rampage in August 2021, the show averaged 1,129,000 viewers and 692,000 (0.53) in the 18-49 demographic and dropped 36% in overall viewership and 31% in the 18-49 demo the following week.
Week 3-7 of AEW Rampage averaged 683,000 viewers and 386,000 (0.30) in the 18-49 demo.
In Thurston’s breakdown, the median age for this week’s Collision was 49.6, which is an older skewer audience than the debut of 45.4 but still younger than pro wrestling programming over the past week except for Dynamite.
In Canada, the show aired live on TSN 5 and averaged 79,000 viewers and 40,400 in the 25-54 demographic. The show ranked ninth among sports programs in the country on Saturday and was fourth in the demo and included the Toronto Blue Jays vs. Oakland A’s and a CFL game between Calgary and Saskatchewan.
The second edition of Collision featured CM Punk teaming with FTR & Ricky Starks against Jay White, Juice Robinson & The Gunns in the main event.
