A new Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion.
Headlining All Japan Pro Wrestling’s July 2nd event was Yuma Aoyagi challenging Yuji Nagata for the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship.
Nagata’s reign as champion came to an end after a 20-plus minute bout. Aoyagi hit Nagata with ‘THE FOOL’ finisher. This is the first time that Aoyagi has won the Triple Crown.

Post-match, Aoyagi was approached by Hokuto Omori who challenged him to a title match for July 22nd. Aoyagi accepted the challenge.
