Mark Briscoe pulled from ROH World Title match at Death Before Dishonor

A new championship match will be decided. 

At Ring of Honor’s Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view on July 21st, Claudio Castagnoli was scheduled to defend the ROH World Title against Mark Briscoe. AEW/ROH owner Tony Khan shared the news that Briscoe is sidelined with an injury and is not able to compete in the title match. 

Castagnoli is going to be in AEW Blood & Guts on July 19th and several days later at Death Before Dishonor, he’ll still be defending his championship with a challenger to be announced. 

Samoa Joe, the reigning ROH World Television Champion is going to know who is next opponent is via an eliminator tournament. Dalton Castle is taking on Tony Nese and on the other side of the bracket, Shane Taylor is facing Shawn Dean.
