Kenny King is the new IMPACT Digital Media Champion after beating Joe Hendry at Slammiversary.

On the pre-show, King ended Hendry’s title reign due to interference involving Sheldon Jean.

As Hendry was returning to the ring, Jean grabbed his leg for the distraction allowing King to stack the champion and place his legs on the rope for leverage with Jean holding King’s legs for the pin in six minutes and ten seconds.

King becomes the sixth champion in the title’s lineage that goes back to Bound for Glory 2021. Hendry had held the title since last October.

The pre-show also featured a six-person tag with Jody Threat, Courtney Rush & Jessicka beating Gisele Shaw, Jai Vidal & Savannah Evans after Rush executed a spear on Vidal for the pin.
