While Kevin Kelly is in Japan calling the 2023 NJPW G1 Climax tournament, Ring of Honor’s Ian Riccaboni has been commentating AEW Collision alongside Nigel McGuinness.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Riccaboni signed a new multi-year deal with AEW recently. The site notes that he was approached about calling Collision full-time before recommending Kevin Kelly.
Ian and Nigel were on the call for the July 15th Collision which featured the conclusion of the Owen Hart Foundation tournament and the 2-out-of-3 Falls match for the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
At the upcoming ROH Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view on July 21st, Ian is going to be commentating alongside Caprice Coleman.
