Jack Perry hands HOOK his first loss, wins FTW Championship

Jack Perry is the new FTW Champion after ending HOOK’s undefeated streak at AEW Blood and Guts.

Perry employed classic heel tactics to grab the win, blasting HOOK with the title belt after referee Paul Turner had taken a bump.

Before the match, Perry appeared in a video segment, seemingly literally burying the ‘Jungle Boy’ gimmick. He then came out to Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 rather than Baltimora’s ‘Tarzan Boy’.

Perry’s win marks his first singles title win in AEW and the end of HOOK’s unbeaten streak and nearly year-long reign as FTW Champion.
