An update on Kamitani.
Closing out night one of STARDOM’s 2023 5Star Grand Prix tournament was Tam Nakano versus Saya Kamitani. During the bout, Kamitani jumped off a lighting tower and could no longer continue the match.
At STARDOM’s press conference, an update was provided on Kamitani and it is confirmed that she suffered a dislocated elbow and ligament damage. She is being pulled from the 5Star Grand Prix and Dream Tag Festival. She was scheduled to team with Mina Shirakawa.
Saya Kamitani, who was injured during her July 23 match vs Tam Nakano, was examined at the hospital and diagnosed with a dislocated elbow and ligament damage. She will be absent for the foreseeable future to focus on recovery, and withdraws from the 5★STAR GP2023.

In addition, Saya's "Dream Tag Festival 2023" team with Mina Shirakawa has been changed to the team of Mina Shirakawa and Tam Nakano. We apologize to everyone that was looking forward to Saya Kamitani's upcoming matches.
