AEW Dynamite’s follow-up episode to Blood & Guts attracted a lower audience this week.

The July 26 episode from Albany, New York averaged 898,000 viewers and 383,000 (0.29) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.

The audience dropped by 6% from last week’s Blood & Guts edition.

In the 18-49 demographic, Dynamite dropped by 13% to a two-week low with women declining by 20% in the demo from 139,000 to 111,000 and males falling from 302,000 and 271,000.

Adults 18-34 only experienced a 5% drop to 162,000 viewers which was somewhat offset by males in the demo growing by 11% – the only category to post an increase from last week’s numbers.

Adults 35-49 fell by 19% to 221,000 viewers including a 22% loss among males in the category.

While AEW Dynamite and NXT have been performing closely of late – Dynamite topped NXT in all the major demos except for women 18-34 where NXT held the edge with 51,000 viewers compared to 47,000 for Dynamite.

Dynamite averaged approximately 109,000 viewers in Canada and 65,000 in the 25-54 demographic on TSN 2. AEW didn’t rank among the top ten sports programs on Wednesday, dominated by women’s soccer, occupying seven of the top ten slots along with a Toronto Blue Jays vs. LA Dodgers game.

The audience in Canada was similar to Blood & Guts last week, which averaged 109,300 viewers and 70,500 in the demo.
