Paul and KSI had an amateur fight with each other with the two fighting to a majority draw in February 2018. They had a rematch in November 2019, which was a professional fight, and saw KSI win by a split decision.

The attention garnered from the fights propelled Paul into a highly-publicized exhibition fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2021 which was the last time he fought.

Paul has been the subject of numerous controversies including posting a video blog from a “suicide forest” in Japan in 2017, criticism from anti-abortion groups for his insults in promoting one of the KSI fights, criticism from GLAAD over his categorization of homosexuality and implying it was a choice, and is currently embroiled in an NFT scandal for over a game called “CryptoZoo” and being accused of costing fans “millions” of dollars on the game.

Paul appeared in the corner of Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 37 in April 2021 and had his first match with the company at the following year’s WrestleMania where he teamed with The Miz against Rey & Dominik Mysterio.

He has been involved in six matches and last wrestled in the men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match this earlier this month in England
