WWE Raw dropped to its lowest viewership in nearly two months for the go-home episode before SummerSlam this weekend.
The July 31 edition of Raw from Houston averaged 1,759,000 viewers and 694,000 (0.53) in the 18-49 demographic, according to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.
Raw’s viewership declined by 3% this week – its lowest since June 12 when it aired against the NBA Finals.
In the 18-49 demographic, the audience fell by 7% which was its lowest amount since July 3.
Adults 18-34 experienced a loss of 13%, which was only a two-week low. Women in the demo saw a larger decrease from 108,000 last week to 88,000.
Adults 35-49 fell by 3% with a minor increase among women in the demo from last week from 120,000 to 125,000.
According to Wrestlenomics, the peak quarter occurred from 9-9:15 p.m. ET with 1,969,000 viewers and 785,000 in the 18-49 demo with Tommaso Ciampa and Shinsuke Nakamura backstage, a Judgment Day segment with Raquel Rodriguez confronting Rhea Ripley and a video for Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler. The segment added 243,000 viewers and 131,000 in the demo from the previous quarter and dropped to 1,720,000 (13%) and 678,000 (14%) in the next quarter.
For the second consecutive show, WWE saw a sizable loss in its Canadian audience. This week’s episode of Raw averaged 155,500 viewers and 57,900 in the 25-54 demographic, which represented a major decline of 41% in viewers and 42% in the demo from last week’s figures. Raw still ranked sixth among sports programming on Monday, which was topped by the Toronto Blue Jays vs. Baltimore Orioles which did over one million viewers.
The recent episode of Raw on Sportsnet 360 in Canada had its lowest viewership since November 21, 2022, except for a special ‘Best of’ episode that aired during the Christmas holidays.
