Back in October 2021, it was formally announced that A.J. Mendez (A.J. Lee) would be getting back into pro wrestling as the Executive Producer of WOW (Women of Wrestling).
The three-time WWE Divas Champion took to her Instagram story and noted that her season-long contract with WOW is winding down. She thanked everyone for welcoming her, their hard work and friendship. She added that she’ll try to come back and ‘play’ sometime in the future.

Mendez did commentary for WOW alongside promotion founder David McLane and Stephen Dickey.
