The New Day is back.
Since February of this year, Kofi Kingston had been sidelined and he underwent ankle surgery in March. Xavier Woods was last featured on WWE programming on a May episode of Monday Night Raw.
Both Woods and Kofi made their returns to WWE on tonight’s Raw. The 12-time WWE Tag Team Champions picked up a win over The Viking Raiders (Ivar & Erik). It was Woods and Kofi’s first televised win since December 2022.

Woods and Kingston’s New Day stable-mate Big E did media over SummerSlam weekend and shared that specialists advised him to not wrestle again after breaking his neck. E added that he’s had talks with WWE about potentially transitioning to commentary.
