In the show opener, Sami Callihan and Rich Swann defeated ABC (Chris Bey & Ace Austin) to advance in the tournament to determine challengers to the IMPACT World Tag Team Championships at Emergence. Swann and Callihan received an unwanted assist from The Good Hands (Jason Hotch & John Skyler) who went after Bey and Austin. On 8/17, it’ll be Callihan and Swann versus The Rascalz and the winner is heading to Emergence on August 27th to challenge Subculture (Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster).
The main event of the show was supposed to see Samuray Del Sol team with Laredo Kid and Black Taurus to take on Bully Ray, Moose and Brian Myers. X Division Champion Lio Rush ambushed Del Sol and the match was converted into a 3-on-2. During the bout, PCO appeared for the first time since being lit on fire by Bully Ray prior to Slammiversary. Bully ran off when PCO came after him.
