Coming out of NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17, NJPW World Television Champion Zack Sabre Jr. added Young Lion Kosei Fujita to T.M.D.K. with himself, Mikey Nicholls and Shane Haste.
On the final day of NJPW’s G1 Climax 33 tournament, Fujita, Haste, Nicholls and Sabre Jr. picked up a win in an eight-man tag. After the bout, Fujita shared that he has graduated from being a Young Lion. He does not know how long he’ll be abroad but would like to come back sporting the colors of TMDK.
I don’t know how long I will be abroad as TMDK, but I would like to come back with my colors, the strength that is unique to me, enhanced even more and my colors. And that’s the end of (my time as a) Young Lion today.
