The first round of All Japan Pro Wrestling’s Oudou Tournament ended on Monday with four more advancing to the second round.

In front of 322 fans at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring, the second night of opening round matches went down and was headlined by Ryuki Honda pinning Triple Crown holder Yuma Aoyagi.

The outcome should set up a future challenge for Honda.

In other first-round matches, Kento Miyahara used the Shutdown German Suplex to pin Atsuki Aoyagi and will meet Honda in the next round.

Suwama pinned Fuminori Abe in 24 seconds after executing a John Woo dropkick, and Hayato Tamura pinned Jun Saito after hitting a lariat.

The second round of the tournament takes place on Tuesday in the same venue with Hayato Tamura vs. Suwama, Takuya Nomura vs. Satoshi Kojima, Dan Tamura vs. Shuji Ishikawa, and Kento Miyahara vs. Ryuki Honda.

The finals are this Sunday in Nagoya with all the shows streaming at AJPW.tv.
