NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton was present at Heatwave. She had an in-ring segment and went on to name former NXT Women’s Champions who she’ll have better title reigns than.
One of the names she mistakenly listed was Becky Lynch as Lynch never held the title. Later in the show, Stratton addressed the mistake and explained that Lynch may be big time to everyone else, but not to her. Lynch responded to the comments and noted that she hasn’t been NXT Women’s Champion yet.

The next challenger to Stratton’s title is going to be determined on August 29th. It’ll be a Fatal 4-Way featuring Roxanne Perez, Gigi Dolin, Kiana James and Blair Davenport and the winner will be the new number one contender.
